Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is on break for the next couple of years and as a former Halo megafan I decided to amuse myself by watching the Silver Timeline Halo series. Spoilers for E1 “Contact” under the cut.
I will say there is nothing more Star Trek than tonal inconsistency that’s Star Trek to the fucking bones every single show from tos on and there’s no better example of it than having an episode about the horrors of war and ptsd sandwiched between a crossover episode with two time traveling idiots and a musical episode featuring singing Klingons. And I say this as a compliment, because I love this about trek, but there is nothing more trek than the ordering of snw 2.7-9
